Zitro, a game content provider, has declared the selection of Derik Mooberry, a seasoned professional from Scientific Games, as the head of its American operations.

Mooberry boasts over two decades of expertise in the field, most recently acting as an advisor to Scientific Games, and previously as the leader of the gaming group.

He joined the supplier through the acquisition of Bally Technologies, where he held the position of Senior Vice President of Products and Operations.

Mooberry will be in charge of overseeing the development of Zitro’s business in the United States and Canada, spearheading the company’s expansion strategy in these regions.

Mike Magrisi of Zitro will remain as Vice President of Sales and Service, responsible for all commercial activities and technical support, reporting directly to Mooberry.

“Derik Mooberry possesses a skill set that is nearly unparalleled in today’s gaming industry. We are certain that his leadership and business acumen will bolster the company’s continued growth and prosperity in the US and Canadian markets,” remarked Johnny Viveiros Ortiz, the founder of Zitro.

Mooberry added, “I have respected Zitro’s global development for many years, and I am thrilled to have the chance to continue this growth in the US and Canada.”

Zitros exhibits a highly auspicious future, considering its initial triumphs within the domestic marketplace.”
