Allwyn, the organization responsible for the Irish National Lottery, is venturing into the realm of digital artistry through a collaboration with 0xCollection. Together, they aim to promote a new wave of creators exploring the convergence of art and technology.
This innovative partnership commences with an exhibition entitled “Synesthetic Immersion” in Prague. The exhibition, underwritten by Allwyn, will feature the captivating creations of eight up-and-coming artists, each pushing the limits of artistic expression through technological means.
Robert Chvátal, Allwyn’s Chief Executive Officer, conveyed the company’s profound dedication to nurturing cultural endeavors and supporting a variety of talents. This partnership, he stressed, embodies Allwyn’s commitment to innovation, harmonizing perfectly with 0xCollection’s own artistic spirit.
Further enriching this collaboration, Allwyn will also be backing the creation of a data-driven artwork by the celebrated digital artist Refik Anadol. This piece, named “Dvořák’s Dream,” promises to be an enchanting blend of art and data.
Elle Anastasiou, the Head of 0xCollection, expressed sincere appreciation for Allwyn’s generous backing, highlighting that the Prague launch would not have been feasible without their assistance.
Our goal is to cultivate partnerships between prominent individuals in the technology and creative spheres. The backing from Allwyn will enable us to expand our dedication to public displays and learning, highlighting the remarkable skills of our era.”
This declaration follows a recent resolution by Allwyn, an international lottery corporation, in a significant legal clash within the United Kingdom. Allwyn’s appointment as the frontrunner for the fourth National Lottery permit had been entangled in a protracted legal struggle involving IGT and the UK’s highest court.
