The United Kingdom’s National Lottery manager, Camelot, has resolved the problems with its iOS application that made it inoperable for the last month or so. In an announcement, Camelot notified its users that the app is now functional again.

The lottery corporation, in a “Critical Player Notice” sent to Android users, further guaranteed that the Android application is presently in its last testing stage and will be launched “shortly.”

Camelot withdrew its iOS and Android mobile applications from app marketplaces in October following numerous user complaints of a bug in the manual entry and QR code ticket scanner that incorrectly informed winning players that their tickets were not winners.

The operator was extensively condemned in British media for disregarding customer input regarding its faulty applications. Despite this criticism, Camelot directors have openly emphasized that they are significantly investing in enhancing the company’s mobile and digital offerings, and that the updated apps have been “autonomously evaluated to guarantee their dependability.”
